Operation Mountaineers

Working on a tip from a local Iraqi citizen, Coalition forces conducted Operation Mountaineers, detaining three suspected insurgents near Ramadi and confiscating a large weapons cache stored in a public school. In addition to serving as a storage facility, the school was being used as an IED factory. The cache included demolitions, mortars, and small arms. In total, Coalition forces detained 12 suspects in relation to the raid.
