Operation Gimlet Crusader
June 24, 2004
On June 24, 2004 the 2nd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division conducted Operation Gimlet Crusader. The operation took place in Kirkuk and was aimed at disrupting insurgents and their attacks on multinational forces. Raids by troops resulted in the capture of seven individuals including one financer and a cell leader.
