Operation Devil Clinch

On February 21, 2004, the 1st Armored Division and the 82nd Airborne Division launched Operation Devil Clinch. This operation was designed as a series of raids to capture suspected insurgents in Baghdad. Division commanders reported that six suspects were captured and turned over to military intelligence. Soldiers also confiscated IED making materials, RPG launchers and mortar sights.
