Operation Cajun Mousetrap III
August 13, 2004 - August 15, 2004
The 2nd Dagger Brigade and the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry continued operations against anti-Iraqi forces in and around Samarra. Troops utilized targeted raids against enemy personnel who were destablizing the city. Soldiers reported that an estimated 45 insurgents were killed.
