Maj. General Bruce Moore (retired)
North

Moore served at all levels of command and staff including two combat tours in the Republic of Vietnam. He was the Deputy Commander of the initial task force in Somalia. He also served in various command positions including Chief of Staff of the 101st Airborne Division and the XVII Airborne Corps as well as Assistant Division Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division in Germany. Additionally he was C-3/J-3/G-3 for all United States and Korean forces on the Korean Peninsula and Deputy Commanding General Fifth United States Army.

Maj. General Moore's service awards include: the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit with two oak leaf clusters, the Distinguished Flying Cross with oak leaf cluster, Bronze Star Medal with oak leaf cluster, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, several Air Medals with the "V" Device and the Army Commendation Medal with "V" Device and two oak leaf clusters. He has also earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Master Aviator Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge and the Ranger Tab.

At MPRI, in Alexandria, VA General Moore served from 2000-2001 as a Program Manager for Military Stabilization Program for Bosnia-Herzegovina, a multi-million dollar program that assisted the Bosnian Government in establishing a NATO compatible Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces. Moore also directed the Nigeria Assessment, an in depth assessment of the actions required to insure a successful transition from a military government to a civilian government.

Prior to his appointment to ORHA, Moore served at PAE Government Services, Inc. as consultant on a joint Department of State and Department of Defense initiative to solicit the support of the countries of Mauritania, Mali, Sudan and Chad in the War on Terrorism.
