Command Field Exercise (CFX)

A Command Field Exercise (CFX) lies on a scale between a CPX and an FTX. Available resources such as money, time, personnel, and equipment determine where the CFX falls on the scale. A CFX is a FTX with reduced combat units and vehicle density, but with full C2, CS and CSS elements. A CFX is considerably less costly than a FTX, yet provides equal training value for the staff.
