A must read book in the post-Sept 11th world.	Culture Matters: How Values Shape Human Progress Collection of essays analyzing the role of culture in current affairs.	Jihad vs. McWorld: How Globalism and Tribalism Are Reshaping the World An interesting analysis of the conflict between capitalism and "tribal fundamentalism."
The Lexus and the Olive Tree Though at times the lack of notes can be infuriating, this is by far the best one of the best books to have come out in 1999. Not reading Friedman's book is a mistake.	The End of the Nation State: The Rise of Regional Economies Argues that states are gradually losing control of the traditional symbols of power, namely economic soveriegnty and that regional dynamics are playing a larger role.	The Coming Anarchy: Shattering the Dreams of the Post Cold War Offers an alternative view of the future of global politics, critical view of Clinton Administration foreign policies.
