: 01207A200     : Assault Company (UH-60)    : 64(BTOE) 64(OTOE):
1. GENERAL.
    a. References:
        (1) AR 71-31, Management System for Tables of Organization
and Equipment, 20 July 1989.
        (2) TRADOC Reg 71-15, Table of Organization and Equipment
(TOE) Development, 20 December 1991.
    b. Basis of preparation and revision of Tables of Organization
and Equipment (TOE).
        (1) This TOE documents the organizational structure and
resource requirements for a 15-ship UH-60 assault company
applicable to a division or corps aviation brigade. This TOE
implements the Aviation Restructure Initiative (ARI) as approved by
Headquarters, Department of Army (HQDA).
        (2) This TOE replaces TOE 01207A200 and has been prepared
in accordance with the provisions of current TOE development
regulations and guidance.
        (3) All Equipment Readiness Codes in this TOE have been
reviewed to ensure strict compliance with criteria in AR 220-1,
Unit Status Reporting. They have also been reviewed to ensure they
are aligned at the paragraph level of detail.
        (4) The unit MARC code is 21A. This TOE is a combat
support unit that operates in the divisional area and is required
to move.
2. EMPLOYMENT.
    a. The Assault Company conducts air assault missions to
support the corps or division. With its speed and flexibility, the
unit conducts operations that require a quick response. The
company augments the division's assault capabilities as well as
fight at the corps level. The unit, besides conducting air
movement operations, is also responsible for limited evacuation of
downed aircraft.
    b. With the exception of the limited AVUM provided by the
assigned crew chiefs and the basic tool kits, the unit is dependent
on other units for all logistical and personnel support services.
Accordingly, it has little or no capability for independent
operations away from the parent battalion. It also locates near or
with the battalion HHC.
    c. This TOE does not include provisions which would restrict
its application to a single geographical area.
5. METHODS OF OPERATIONS AND FUNCTION.
GENERAL REMARK. The only personnel requirements listed in this
paragraph are those not covered by criteria and measurable manpower
requirements standards contained in AR 570-2 or automated analysis
