The operation order displays in a written format the commander's selected course of action, his concept of the operation, all guidance given during the planning of the operation. It merges maneuver, fire, combat support, and combat service support into a synchronized operation. In this appendix, the OPORD format is shown and fire support documents have been incorporated into the OPORD.
