Appendix C
FREQUENCY AND VOLTAGE DATA
Different power frequencies and voltages are used in different parts of the world. In the US, 60 Hz is the most common frequency. Secondary distribution volt ages of 120/208, 120/240, and 277/480 are common. Table C-1 provides an extensive but not exhaustive list of the frequencies and secondary voltages for commercial power systems in many foreign lands and US territories. This data is subject to change, so planners should verify it before use.
