3. Execution

a. Concept of Operation:

(1) Maneuver. Tm B will pass thru TF 2-79 Mech on AXIS RED with
1st Plt and 3d Plt abreast to seize the Bldgs 8 and 9, respectively; Tank plt will support by fire vic 789759.
(2) Fires. Priority of fires to 1st Plt initially; HE with fuze VT and smoke will be fired on a line from CP1 to CP10049755 to 040800. Dual purpose ICM rds will be fired on the center of OCKSTADT commencing 040800. Bn Hv Mort Plt will continue firing smoke screen between CP1 and CP10 until lifted by FIST Chief.
 b. 1st Plt.
(1) Support 3d Plt seizure of Bldg 9.
(2) Be prepared to assist 3d Plt in seizure of Bldgs 7, 9, 29 to 31, 36, and 37.
(3) On order seize Bldg 32, then 33 to 35.
(4) Assist in passage of Tm's TANK and A.
 c. 3d Plt.
(1) Clear all buildings in 7-9 complex (Bldgs 7, 9, 29 to 31, 36 and 37).
(2) Support 1st Plt's seizure of buildings south of road from Bldgs 30 and 31.
(3) Be prepared to assist in passage of Tm's A and TANK thru CP1.
 d. Tank Plt.
(1) Support by fire seizure of foothold by 1st and 3d Plts.
(2) On order move fwd vic Bldg 9 to support clearance of Bldgs 29 to 37.
 e. Wpns Plt.
(1) AT Secs: GS, OCC overwatch vic 792763; displace fwd on order; cover routes to the north of OCKSTADT.
(2) Mort Sec: GS; OCC init vic 783761; displace fwd on order.
 f. 1/3/A/52 Engr: Follow cund gp; spt assault & breach of foothold.
g. Coordinating Instructions:
(1) SP 040740; Order of march on RT RED, 1st Plt, Cmd Gp, 3d Plt, Wpns Plt and Tank Plt.
(2) Use traveling technique to RP.
(3) At RP we will meet guides from TF 2-79 who will guide us to attack position vic 785761.
(4) Signal for cleared Bldgs is Red X.
(5) Consolidation and Reorganization.
(a) 3d Plt occupy Bldgs 7, 19 and 37; 1st Plt occupy Bldgs 35 and 34; be prepared to support Tm A and Tm Tk atk by fire.
(b) Tank Plt occupy hide positions on west side of Bldgs 29 to 31 and move forward to support on order.
(c) AT Sec occupy firing positions gic Bldg 8 on order.
(d) Cmd Gp will occupy Bldg 31.
 (6) Report all refugees ASAP. No mishandling.
(7) Dismouunted in wooded areas south of Bldg 9.
(8) Be prepared to leave a minimum of one man to secure each Bldg cleared in zone.
(9) Bldg 29 is contact point for coordination with Tm A; Bldg 34 for Tm TANK.
