Situation for Questions 1 through 7.

You are a platoon leader. You have just received the company warning order for a dismounted daylight attack, you are making plans and preparing to issue your OPORD.

1. You are selecting the platoon's maneuver element. You--

A. select the element based on the platoon's position in the company formation.
B. decide based on the likelihood of enemy contact.
C. may use one, two or three squads, depending on the situation and support provided by the rest of the company.
D. base your decision on the distance to the objective and the likelihood of enemy contact.
2. You are briefing your squad leaders on consolidation actions. You tell them their first step in consolidation after seizing the objective is to--
