Tehran, IRNA -- Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said in a message to Basij (volunteer) groups on the anniversary of its establishment on Wednesday that despite intensifying crises, "an opening is on the horizon" and the cycle of US-Israeli aggression would eventually come to an end.
Qassem said victory comes in two forms - "victory in one's heart and victory over the enemy" - adding that those who remain steadfast in faith will ultimately prevail, even if it takes time.
"No matter how much the crises intensify, the opening will come, and the vicious cycle of aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States will come to an end," he said.
Addressing Basij members, he urged perseverance, saying steadfastness leads to honor and dignity, which he said belong to God, the Prophet, and the believers.
