The Russian Federation resumed its drone attacks on civilian targets and port infrastructure in Ukraine, on the night of November 23rd to 24th, in the vicinity of the border with Romania.
Radar monitoring systems detected air targets heading to Ismail, and two German Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft conducting enhanced Air Policing Missions scrambled to monitor the air situation.
The drones disappeared from the radar, shortly after explosions were reported in Ismail.

At 01.45, following the detection of air targets 30 kilometers north of Snake Island, with possible incursions towards Vâlcov, Chilia or Ismail, Romanian Air Force scrambled two of its F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft.
The authorities sent a RO-Alert message to the population in the north of Tulcea County at 02.20.
During the mission, the F-16 aircraft reported air targets at various distances from Ismail and observed explosions on the Ukrainian territory. No drone incursions into the national airspace were detected and the F-16 aircraft returned to the 86th Air Base at 03:51.
