At least three Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli strike on the southern Gaza Strip, as the occupation forces continue to breach the ceasefire agreement, bombing the war-torn, besieged territory.
Medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that three people were killed on Sunday after Israel bombed the eastern side of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
That same day, Israel also struck the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City and areas close to the southern city of Rafah.
At night, several people were injured after an Israeli quadcopter dropped a bomb in the neighborhood.
On Monday morning, Israeli artillery shelling and intense gunfire were reported east of Khan Younis.
A Palestinian was also killed when an Israeli drone launched an airstrike on Beit Lahiya in northeastern Gaza.
According to the Gaza Government Media Office, Israeli troops have violated the ceasefire agreement more than 282 times ever since it came into effect on October 10.
The office noted that the violations included crimes of direct gunfire against civilians, deliberate shelling and targeting, and the arrest of dozens of civilians, reflecting the occupation's continued policy of aggression despite the declared end of the war.
Since the start of the ceasefire agreement last month, at least 266 people have been killed and 635 wounded by Israeli attacks, adding to a tragic toll now approaching 70,000 deaths.
The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) reported that 13,000 families in Gaza, whose homes were demolished over two years of relentless Israeli bombardment, are now facing freezing temperatures and severe flooding while living in poorly constructed makeshift tents.
