12 Nov 2025
All information updated for 3 - 9 November 2025 [1]
Days 756 - 762 since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip
Highlights
The Gaza Strip
- According to OCHA, daily detonations of residential buildings continue to be reported in multiple areas where Israeli Forces are deployed, especially in eastern Khan Younis and eastern Gaza City. Israeli Forces' strikes near or east of the so-called "Yellow Line" under the ceasefire agreement continue to be reported, resulting in casualties including among civilians.
- As elaborated in the joint statement by UNICEF, UNRWA, WHO and partners, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH), agencies are launching an integrated catch-up campaign for routine immunization, nutrition, and growth monitoring in the Gaza Strip to reach 44,000 children cut off from essential life-saving services by two years of conflict.
- The Shelter Cluster issued a ceasefire statement on 5 November warning that at least 259,000 Palestinian families or more than 1.45 million people in Gaza face winter, including rain and cold, without adequate protection, as Israeli authorities restrictions continue to block the entry of lifesaving shelter supplies.
- Multiple vital relief items continue to be rejected for entry into Gaza, according to OCHA, including vehicles (for humanitarian organisations) and their spare parts, solar panels, some types of mobile latrines, x-ray machines, and generators.
- In addition, education supplies and fresh meat were also rejected as Israeli authorities regard them to be outside the scope of humanitarian aid.
- Restrictions on the entry of spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment for water networks and sewage systems, including generators, batteries and lubricants, have hindered the efforts of UNRWA to repair WASH facilities in the Gaza Strip. Dozens of UNRWA vehicles and equipment units, including water tankers and jetting vehicles, remain uncleared for entry into Gaza by Israeli authorities, and the limited availability of related supplies on local markets constrains maintenance.
- Despite these limitations, UNRWA teams continue to provide about one third of all the water distributed in Gaza City and North Gaza area. On 5 November, the Agency successfully rehabilitated a water borehole in Jabalia, which is expected to enhance its capacity to provide water for domestic use to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in North Gaza.
- UNRWA continues to help children with adaptive learning opportunities by expanding Temporary Learning Spaces (TLSs) in UNRWA schools-turned-shelters. Over 38,000 boys and girls are currently receiving in-person learning activities across 251 TLSs, including in Gaza City and the North Gaza governorate.
The occupied West Bank including East Jerusalem
- In the northern West Bank, Israeli Forces renewed the military order issued against Tulkarm Camp as part of operation 'Iron Wall' until 31 January 2026. Some 32,000 Palestine Refugees remain forcibly displaced by the operation, ongoing since January 2025.
