The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has called on mediators and the international community to pressure Israel to halt its deadly violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

Marking one month since the truce took effect, Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to the deal in a statement on Monday, urging "the mediators, guarantors, countries, and international organizations to continue working to pressure the Occupation and oblige it to stop its repeated violations."

Hamas noted that Israel is violating the ceasefire agreement "on a daily and systematic basis," through killings, arrests, destruction of homes, and restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid and fuel to the besieged strip.

"Since the agreement came into effect, 271 Palestinians have been killed, including 107 children and 39 women, and 622 others have been injured," the resistance group added.

According to the statement, 35 Palestinians were kidnapped in violation of the deal and less than 200 trucks - out of the 600 agreed number- enter the strip per a day.

The resistance movement said that Israel continues to block the Rafah crossing, leaving patients, students, and stranded civilians unable to travel, despite the truce agreement.

Meanwhile, Hamas said that Israel returned the bodies of Palestinian martyrs "mutilated and crushed under tanks," regarding the acts as "full-fledged" war crimes, adding that Israel continues to withhold a complete list of Palestinian detainees from Gaza, providing "incomplete and inconsistent" data in violation of the deal.

The statement warned that Israel's violations are aimed at undermining the agreement and thwarting efforts aimed to secure a long-lasting ceasefire.

Israel has killed nearly 70,000 Palestinians since launching the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, before a ceasefire deal, brokered by the United States, was reached in the strip last month.

The initial phase of US President Donald Trump's 20-point Gaza ceasefire plan took effect on October 10 and saw a prisoner exchange, but further stages have not been negotiated yet.
