A Palestinian anti-settlement group says Israeli military forces and illegal settlers conducted 2,350 attacks across the occupied West Bank last month as part of their "ongoing cycle of terror."
Head of the Palestinian Authority's Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CRRC), Mu'ayyad Sha'ban, said on Wednesday that Israeli forces carried out 1,584 attacks, which included direct physical assaults, home demolitions, and the uprooting of olive trees.
The governorates experiencing the bulk of the violence were Ramallah with 542 incidents, Nablus with 412, and al-Khalil with 401.
The research, compiled in a CRRC monthly report titled Occupation Violations and Colonial Expansion Measures, additionally recorded 766 attacks carried out by settlers.
The commission stated that settlements are being expanded, a move considered illegal under international law, as part of what it described as a deliberate strategy designed to displace the land's native population and impose a completely discriminatory colonial system.
The report indicated that settler attacks have reached a new high, with the majority occurring in the Ramallah governorate (195 incidents), followed by Nablus (179) and al-Khalil (126). Olive pickers bore the greatest impact of these attacks. The report said the farmers were the victims of the "terror" that had been "orchestrated in the dark backrooms of the occupation regime."
It detailed cases of Israeli vandalism and theft, conducted in coordination with Israeli soldiers, involving the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 1,200 olive trees in areas such as al-Khalil, Ramallah, Tubas, Qalqilya, Nablus, and Bethlehem. Amid the violence, settlers have attempted to establish seven new outposts on Palestinian land since October in the governorates of al-Khalil and Nablus.
The report came on the same day that five Palestinians sustained injuries in two separate assaults carried out by illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Additionally, another group of settlers targeted the occupied territory by setting fire to agricultural land.
According to activists and local media, Israeli settlers from the Otniel settlement reportedly attacked residents in the village of Khillet al-Farra, located west of Yatta near al-Khalil.
Osama Makhmara, an activist who documents Israeli violations, told reporters that settlers "released their livestock and cattle into Palestinian-owned vineyards and fruit orchards, and near homes, before assaulting residents."
The attack resulted in three Palestinians sustaining minor injuries, which were treated on the site, Makhmara stated. He also mentioned that illegal settlers fired at villagers who were attempting to fend off the assault. No gunshot injuries were reported.
Earlier on Wednesday, an elderly Palestinian man and woman were injured when illegal settlers attacked homes in the Shaab al-Batm area, east of Yatta, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
New data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) show that Israel's ongoing demolition of Palestinian homes and infrastructure in the occupied West Bank remains relentless.
The agency's most recent figures reveal that in 2025, Israeli forces have so far demolished over 1,434 Palestinian structures, which include homes, livestock shelters, water tanks, and even donor-funded facilities, leaving more than 1,800 people displaced.
In July 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) declared Israel's decades-long occupation of historical Palestine illegal.
The ICJ demanded the evacuation of all existing settlements in the West Bank and East al-Quds. It was mere words.
