OIC Condemns Plans to Build 356 Settlement Units in Occupied Al-Quds

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemns the approval by the Israeli occupation authorities of the construction of 356 new settlement units in occupied Al-Quds. It affirms that this constitutes a war crime under international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, particularly Security Council Resolution 2334 and the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice.
The OIC General Secretariat also warns of the dangers of the continued and escalating violence and terrorism perpetrated by extremist settler militias in the occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. It calls upon the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate and decisive action to end impunity and hold perpetrators accountable for the crimes they commit against the Palestinian people, their land, and their property.
