The Secretary-General met with H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, the Secretary-General of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).
They discussed the cooperation between the United Nations and ASEAN, and their mutual commitment to multilateralism.
The Secretary-General reiterated his full support for the future ASEAN-UN Plan of Action 2026-2030.
