Working visit by the National Armaments Director at the trade fair "Defence & Security Equipment International" in London

Bern, 11.09.2025 -- National Armaments Director Urs Loher took part in the armaments trade fair "Defence & Security Equipment International" (DSEI) in London from 9 to 10 September 2025. In addition to meetings with representatives from industry, bilateral talks with the participating armaments directors from Norway, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands also took place.
The DSEI takes place every two years and is one of the largest trade fairs for defence and security worldwide. It serves as a forum for exchange between governments, national armed forces, industry and science.
As part of his working visit to the DSEI 2025, the National Armaments Director exchanged views with his counterparts from Norway, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands. These bilateral work discussions focused on national and international arms policy developments, ongoing bilateral procurement projects and future opportunities for cooperation. In addition, the National Armaments Director also visited the Swiss Pavilion and other selected company stands at the trade fair.
