The Gaza Strip's Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has decried the Israeli regime's "systematic destruction" of Gaza City's neighborhoods using explosive-laden robots among many other lethal tools.

The movement delivered the remark in a statement on Tuesday, days after the regime launched its so-called "Operation Gideon Chariots II" to seize the city, the Gaza Strip's largest urban area that lies in its north, in its entirety.

The statement detailed the regime's no-holds-barred methods to force out the city's nearly-one-million-strong civilians, who have sought refuge there after fleeing from incessant Israeli attacks elsewhere across the coastal sliver.

It cited the "fascist" Israeli military's "intensive aerial bombardment" of the city and "use of robots carrying tons of explosives detonated in residential areas."

The movement decried the unprecedented nature of the atrocities, calling them war crimes and crimes against humanity under the international law.

It condemned the regime of "war criminal" Benjamin Netanyahu for deploying the methods towards advancing its genocidal intents at whatever cost.

More than 63,500 people, mostly women and children, have been killed since October 2023, when the regime began a war of genocide on the Palestinian territory.

As early as November 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued Netanyahu and his former minister for military affairs Yoav Gallant arrest warrants for their war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Hamas also denounced the regime's overall war tactics for being aimed at "criminal ethnic cleansing."

As part of its attacks on the Gaza City earlier on Tuesday, the military slew more than 10 members of the al-Aff family, mostly women and children.

Elsewhere throughout the territory, it slaughtered 11 people, including seven children, in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, using a drone against the victims, who were filling up their jerrycans and containers with water.

According to Hamas, the atrocities "necessitate immediate intervention by the UN Security Council to impose a halt to this brutal genocide and hold those responsible accountable."

It called the United States, the Israeli regime's "partner in crime," referring to Washington's providing unprecedented and unyielding military and political assistance to the regime at the height of the war.

"We call on Arab and Islamic countries and the free people of the world to take effective action and continue pressure to stop the crime of genocide committed by the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip, and to confront its projects that threaten security and peace in the entire region."
