The Israeli regime has intensified its aerial assault on southern Lebanon, bombing the highlands of Ali al-Taher and al-Dabsha, as well as the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tibnit.
The Israeli army carried out two airstrikes on the outskirts of Ali al-Taher, Kafr Tibnit, and Upper Nabatieh, causing nearby homes to shake from the blasts, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.
Furthermore, an Israeli drone strike hit a residential home in the border town of Aita al-Shaab, also in southern Lebanon. In a separate incident earlier this morning, a missile landed on the Darb al-Qamar Road in Mifdoun but did not detonate.
The Israeli army claims the airstrikes were aimed at destroying "Hezbollah's underground infrastructure" in the Beaufort Ridge area.
According to the news agency, Israeli forces also dropped leaflets over the town of Aita al-Shaab reading: "We will keep working against the infrastructure of Hezbollah; we have warned you."
The regime's forces also launched intensive fire belts in the mountainous region of Ali al-Taher, further endangering civilians in the surrounding areas of Nabatieh al-Fawqa. Israeli warplanes repeatedly returned to bomb the same targets in rapid succession.
Simultaneously, the skies above the targeted zones witnessed a heavy presence of Israeli surveillance and attack drones, raising further alarm among local residents.
On Friday, in yet another Israeli violation, an Israeli drone struck a civilian car in the town of Sir al-Gharbiyeh, in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, killing its driver.
On Thursday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes on the outskirts of the southern towns of al-Qatrani, al-Jarmaq, and al-Mahmoudiyah. An Israeli drone also dropped four bombs on Kfar Kila, one of which struck a municipal vehicle, causing material damage.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stationed at Roueissat al-Alam position opened fire toward the outskirts of Kfar Chouba.
Another Israeli airstrike targeted the Jabbour Heights in Western Bekaa, in the Bekaa governorate.
The attacks come amid ongoing violations across various parts of Lebanon, despite the ceasefire announced on November 27, 2024.
