Iran strongly condemns Israeli attack on Gaza hospital that killed 20, including 5 journalists

Tehran, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has strongly condemned the heinous crime committed by the Israeli regime in the bombing of the Nasser Medical Complex, southern Gaza's main hospital.
In reaction to the martyrdom of at least 20 patients and medical staff, as well as five journalists during the Israeli savage bombing on Monday, Baghaei described it as a brutal war crime, designed and carried out by the Israeli regime as part of its plan for the genocide of the Palestinians, with the intent of erasing Palestine as a nation and identity.
He described the ongoing inaction of international bodies and self-proclaimed advocates of human rights in the face of severe violations of human rights and international humanitarian law in Gaza and the West Bank as shameful.
Baghaei emphasized the legal and moral responsibility of all governments to stop the genocide and punish the Nazi-like and racist Zionist criminals, adding that the arms and political supporters of the occupying regime, particularly the United States, were partners in the heinous crimes committed against the Palestinian people and must be held accountable by the international community.
