The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine condemned the Israeli army's decision to distribute tents in southern Gaza as part of a plan to evacuate and relocate Gaza City residents from north to south.
The Islamic Jihad has condemned Israel's distribution of tents in southern Gaza as a ploy to forcibly displace Gaza City residents from north to south, calling it a brutal attempt to seize the city.
The group denounced the move as a violation of the UN charter and an insult to international bodies, warning that forced displacement amid starvation, killings, and displacement, constitutes a crime against humanity.
This announcement follows Israeli security cabinet approval of a plan to control Gaza City, where over a million people are sheltering, and Netanyahu's stated desire for full Israeli control of the Gaza Strip.
The UN has criticized the plan as a dangerous escalation that risks worsening the catastrophic situation for Palestinians and Israeli captives held by Hamas.
