OIC Condemns Expansionist Statements of Israeli Occupation's Prime Minister, Warns of Dangerous Implications on Regional and World Security and Stability

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its condemnation and rejection of the provocative statements made by the Israeli occupation's Prime Minister about the so-called "greater Israel vision." It considered that an extension to the extremist, inciting, aggressive, and belittling discourse of states' sovereignty and a stark violation of the international law principles as well as the UN charter and relevant resolutions.
The OIC stresses that these aggressive statements aim to shirk the international obligations incumbent upon Israel, the occupying power, and to continue violating the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The OIC warns of the gravity of this colonial expansionist discourse, which constitutes a threat to the regional and world security and peace, stokes the spiral of violence, and expands and prolongs the conflict in the region.
The OIC reiterates its call to the international community, notably the international security council, to assume its responsibility to stand to these aggressive policies, take decisive actions to stop the Israeli aggression, implement the two-state solution, and end the illegal occupation of the Palestinian and Arab territories occupied since 1967 as the basis for achieving a fair, permanent and comprehensive peace in the region.
