Minister Budrys: We support Moldova's European future

On 30 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys, met with Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of Moldova.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized Lithuania's support for Moldova in countering the hybrid threats posed by Russia and expressed support for Moldova's progress toward EU membership.
"We support Moldova's European future, and we hope that, together with Ukraine, the country will continue
progressing on its EU accession path. Lithuania's support is also practical as we contribute to the capacity building of Moldovan institutions in the field of European integration," the Minister said.
At the meeting, the head of Lithuania's diplomacy also confirmed his support for Moldova's territorial integrity and congratulated the country on its efforts to counter the circumvention of sanctions against Russia.
