Radosław Sikorski meets with Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Commander of United States European Command (EUCOM)

On 25 July 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski met with General Alexus Grynkewich, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and the Commander of the United States European Command (EUCOM).
This was the first time General Alexus Grynkewich visited Poland after he had assumed the new positions on 4 July 2025.
The talks focused on Poland-US military cooperation and on Europe's security in the face of threats posed by Russia and its aggression against Ukraine. Also discussed were the consequences to Europe's security of changes in world politics.
General A. Grynkewich spoke highly of Poland's efforts to modernise its armed forces and the amount of cooperation and support afforded to the US troops stationed in Poland.
Before talking to Minister Sikorski, the general had a brief encounter with the Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and his wife, Aleksandra Uznańska-Wiśniewska, a member of the Sejm.
