Tehran, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Khatib has considered the U.S. claim that military shipments were being sent from Iran to Yemen as baseless and described it as part of creating a media hype against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
"It as part of a media campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran," Baqaei said.
He pointed out that in a situation where the Israeli regime, by taking advantage of deadly weapons donated by the United States and that country's comprehensive political and propaganda support, is increasing the intensity of the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, and simultaneously repeatedly violating the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Syria and Lebanon, the U.S. claim about the seizure of military cargo destined for Yemen is nothing more than a fraudulent attempt to divert public opinion from the main issue in the region, namely the aggression and crimes of the Israeli regime against the people of the region and the destructive and insecure interventions of the United States.
