At least 17 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since dawn, say media reports quoting medical sources in the besieged territory.
Among those killed were three people from the same family living in a tent in the city of Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, according to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
Four other people were also reported killed in separate strikes in the Remal and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods of Gaza City, according to the al-Shifa Hospital.
Four more people were killed and 10 injured in an Israeli bombing of a house on Jaffa Street in the Tuffah neighbourhood, east of Gaza City, according to reports from the al-Ahli Hospital.
Moreover, media reports indicated that relentless Israeli assaults on Gaza killed at least 45 Palestinians on Friday, including at least 10 aid seekers.
The United Nations reported that since late May, some 800 Palestinians have been killed while seeking aid at sites most run by the controversial US- and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
On Thursday, the Israeli military killed 15 people, including nine children and four women, as they waited in line for nutritional supplements in the city of Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
The controversial GHF has effectively sidelined Gaza's vast UN-led aid delivery network since it started operations in May, after Israel's more than two-month total blockade on the Strip.
Israeli soldiers and US contractors working with GHF have admitted to shooting unarmed Palestinians gathering for food, according to separate recent reports by Israeli outlet Haaretz and The Associated Press news agency.
Israel is engineering a "cruel and Machiavellian scheme to kill" in Gaza, the head of the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said in a post on X on Friday.
"Under our watch, Gaza has become the graveyard of children [and] starving people," Philippe Lazzarini added.
Israel's war on Gaza has killed at least 57,762 people and wounded 137,656, according to Gaza's Health Ministry, since the onset of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023.
