Foreign Minister Tsahkna: Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian chargé d'affaires to present a note on the violation of Estonian airspace

Today 14 May, the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Russian Federation in Estonia to protest and present a note concerning the violation of Estonian airspace on 13 May.
The border violation took place over the Gulf of Finland, north of the Juminda Peninsula, where an aircraft from the Russian Federation entered Estonian airspace without permission.
"From Estonia's perspective, this is a very serious and regrettable incident, which is not acceptable in any way," Foreign Minister Tsahkna said.
