President Gitanas Nausėda expresses his condolences over the loss of the fourth United States soldier found, who perished during a U.S.-led training exercise in the Švenčionys district of Lithuania.
The President is grateful to the services and allies who worked tirelessly under extremely difficult conditions to ensure that the U.S. soldier, who had been training in our country, was finally found.
"I convey my sincere condolences to the United States of America and all its people, as well as to the soldier's family and colleagues. We have carried out the search operation tirelessly, driven by a great commitment to our American friends, who are our staunch allies," the Lithuanian leader emphasized.
