The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its rejection and condemnation of the decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of Fiji, Sitiveni Rabuka, to move his country's embassy to occupied Al-Quds, considering this illegal measure a provocative act and a flagrant violation of international law and all relevant United Nations resolutions, especially UN Security Council Resolution No. 478.
The OIC affirmed that the city of Al-Quds is part of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967 according to all international legitimacy resolutions, calling on the Government of Fiji to reverse this illegal decision.
