Readout of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's Call With the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei

Pentagon Press Secretary John Ullyot provided the following readout:

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei held an introductory call Feb. 15 to exchange views on regional issues and reaffirm the U.S.-UAE defense partnership. The Secretary expressed his desire to continue working with the UAE to address regional security concerns and to coordinate on shared priorities, including defense industry cooperation. The two agreed to remain in contact over the coming months.
