On October 31, on the sidelines of the 2nd International Conference on Eurasian Security in Minsk, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin.
In discussing the situation in the Balkans, special attention was given to Kosovo, particularly in light of ongoing anti-Serb repressions by Pristina authorities. Both sides emphasised the importance of adhering to UN Security Council Resolution 1244 as a fundamental condition for achieving a fair resolution to the Kosovo crisis and ensuring peace and stability in the Balkan region. Other current topics in international politics were also addressed.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to advancing bilateral relations across various sectors, despite external pressures.
