Israel has killed at least 36,654 people in the besieged Gaza Strip since October, the Gaza Health Ministry says.
The toll from the past 24 hours includes a minimum of 68 fatalities.
Over 83,300 people have also been injured in the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.
"The Israeli occupation commits 6 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 68 martyrs and 235 injuries during the past 24 hours," the health ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
"The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 36,654 martyrs and 83,309 injuries since the seventh of last October," it added.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Thursday it has documented over 464 Israeli attacks since October.
The "attacks have resulted in 727 fatalities, 933 injuries, affected 101 health facilities and 113 ambulances," the WHO in occupied Palestinian territory said in a statement on X.
At least 40 individuals, including 14 children and nine women, were killed on Thursday when Israel carried out a deliberate airstrike on a Gaza school, which it claimed was being used as a hiding place by Hamas.
Gaza's Media Office denied Israeli claims of Hamas presence in the UN school in Nuseirat, located in central Gaza, and accused Israel of carrying out a "horrific massacre."
Ismail Al-Thawabta, the director of the media office, dismissed Israel's claim that the school was concealing a Hamas command center.
"The occupation uses ... false fabricated stories to justify the brutal crime it conducted against dozens of displaced people," Thawabta told Reuters.
Philippe Lazzarini, the head of UNRWA, said the school, managed by the UN Palestinian refugee agency, was providing shelter to 6,000 displaced individuals.
