The leader of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Al-Malik Al-Houthi, made a groundbreaking announcement on Thursday, declaring that the Yemeni Armed Forces are expanding their operations to target vessels in the Indian Ocean.
Tehran -ISNA- This move comes as a response to the Israeli occupation forces' war on the Gaza Strip and attacks on ships affiliated with the US, UK, and Israel in the region.
With ships redirecting their routes towards the Cape of Good Hope to avoid Yemeni missile and drone attacks in the Red Sea, the Yemeni Navy aims to prevent Israeli-affiliated vessels from reaching South Africa. Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized the ongoing operations and called for the support of the Yemeni people in solidarity with Gaza.
The head of Ansar Allah negotiating delegation, Mohammad Abdul-Salam, warned international shipping companies associated with Israel to take the escalating operations seriously, as any ship linked to 'Israel' is vulnerable to Yemeni missiles.
Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted the commitment of the Yemeni Armed Forces to support Palestine, despite the lack of practical support from other Islamic countries. He condemned the US and Western countries for providing weapons to 'Israel' and participating in the genocide in Gaza.
With the Gaza Strip enduring unprecedented challenges, the people continue to stand strong and support the Resistance fighters. The Yemeni leader praised their resilience and criticized the attempts to sow division between the people of Gaza and the Resistance forces.
In the face of international deception and maneuvering, Sayyed al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to the cause of Palestine and vowed to continue their operations to support Gaza. The news of expanding operations in the Indian Ocean serves as a rallying cry for the Yemeni people and a warning to ships redirected towards the Cape Route.
