
Palestinian fighters capture Israeli drone

Tehran, IRNA -- The military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has announced taking control of an Israeli drone in the skies over Gaza City.
According to the Shihab Palestinian News Agency, Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on Saturday that the resistance fighters could intercept and capture the SkyLark UAV over the south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
The statement said the drone was on a spying mission in the skies over Gaza.
Resistance groups in the region have captured and downed several Israeli and American drones over the past couple of months.
Last week, the Lebanese resistance movement, Hozbollah, released a video showing the interception and capture of second Israeli UAV over Lebanon in a couple of days.
And the Yemeni army has downed several American drones, with the US military acknowledging the loss of two of UAVs in the last two months.
