Tehran, IRNA -- Lebanon's Hezbollah has announced it has targeted a Zionist command base in the city of Safed, in northern Palestinian occupied lands, as well as Malekiya base on the joint border with Palestine.
According to a Tuesday report by Palestinian Sama News, the attacks were carried out in retaliation to the Zionist assassination of Salah al-Arouri, the deputy head of the political office of Hamas, and the assassination of Wissam Hassan al-Tawil, one of the jihadi commanders of the Lebanese Hezbollah.
It said that the Zionist command base was targeted by a drone attack while the other Zionist base was hit by suitable weapons.
The Zionist media have confirmed a base having been targeted in northern Palestine while they said it is not clear whether it was hit in a drone attack or by missile.
