
Tens of rockets fired at US base in eastern Syria: Source

Tehran, IRNA -- A US base in the Al-Omar oil field in the Deir Ez-Zor governorate in eastern Syria has been targeted by 30 rockets, media outlets has reported.
The rocket attacks were launched in response to the US aggression against a truck in the paggae between Al-Qa'im and al-Bukamal on Syria-Iraq border crossing, Lebanon's Al Mayadeen cited a source as saying on Monday.
According to the source, the US base has been directly targeted by 30 rockets, in which some were injured.
Prior to today's rocket attack, al-Assad airbase located in al-Anbar governorate in western Iraq, where the US troops were present, was attacked by the Iraqi resistance fighters about a week ago.
