The Palestinian Resistance in the city of Jenin confronted the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) as they attempted to storm the city as the sirens in the city and camp of Jenin sounded.

Tehran (ISNA) - The director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital confirmed that after the occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin, they surrounded the hospital and closed off all of its entrances, demanding all Palestinian citizens exit the hospital.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades' Jenin Brigade, as well as Jenin's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades stated that violent confrontations against the occupation forces and their penetrating vehicles were ongoing in the vicinity of the camp.

The al-Aqsa martyrs Bridage also noted that they had targeted Israeli raiding vehicles with a high-explosive device, confirming definite casualties.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and had ascended as martyrs while 7 others were reported seriously injured.

In turn, Palestinian media reported multiple targetings of ambulances in a repeated Israeli practice to prevent ambulances from reaching those injured or from reaching the hospital to allow the medical team to attend to them.

Moreover, Palestinian media reported that the IOF had been purposefully burning down trees across the city. This despicable practice is not new, given that the occupation has often done so with the aim of harming Palestinians on one end, as well as eliminating possible "security risks" noting that trees would provide the Resistance with a certain level of safety to advance amid difficult confrontations.
