Tehran (ISNA) - Islamic Republic of Iran's ambassador to brussels as well as the country's mission to EU "Gholam-Hossein Dehghani" criticizes silence of European countries in the face of Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
"In the past 30 days, we have witnessed the application of double standards by the EU, the US, and many European countries towards the criminal acts committed by Israel in Gaza. Although people around the world are calling for a ceasefire in the streets" Dehghani says in a news conference with some of his colleague and diplomats in Brussels.
Iranian diplomat who wore Palestinian Keffiyeh states that "Western decision-makers seem indifferent to the people's wishes. The US has shown bias in favor of Israeli atrocities to the extent that even some of its regional allies do not see this country as qualified to mediate in this conflict".
"The EU typically presents itself as a defender of human rights, but it currently remains silent about the massacre of Palestinians. By not condemning Israel's crimes, it effectively supports this regime's actions against Palestinians". Head of Iran's mission to EU says regarding their stance in Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israel has dropped more than 25,000 tonnes of explosives on the Gaza Strip since October 7 - equivalent to two nuclear bomb.
Meanwhile, Gaza health ministry announced that more than 11200 Palestinians martyred since 7th of October as a result of Israeli indiscriminate bombardment of the strip.
