Coordinator for the Captives and Missing Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Gal Hirsch, today (Thursday, 12 October 2023), opened the national control center for the families of the captive and missing, the phone number of which is *6754. The center will be an address for all families of the captive and missing and will coordinate the overall government assistance and activity for the families.

The center is located at IDF Home Front Command headquarters. It will operate around the clock and be staffed by dozens of experienced officers who were carefully selected after undergoing training by military psychologists. Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Shlomi Ben Moha will be in command.

Coordinator for the Captives and Missing Brig.-Gen. (Ret.) Gal Hirsch:

"Dear families, we have opened a special liaison center for you, the number of which is *6754. This center is for you.

Since the outbreak of the war, we have focused on three main efforts: The intelligence-operational effort; the effort to be an address for you, so that you will have a center to turn to for any need. We are here for you. The third effort is the greatest, to assess the situation.

Things take time and while we are in the midst of a war, we will reach each and every one of you. We will obtain the information that you are waiting for so much. We are working on this 24 hours a day, with the best minds, the best people and the best technology.

You are invited to call us at *6754, which is staffed by senior and experienced officers, and we will help. We are always here for you.

We have a long journey ahead of us. The war has just started and we will overcome together and win."
