Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Chidi Blyden's Meeting in Washington With Nigerien Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Abdou Sidikou

Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Africa Affairs Chidi Blyden and RDML Adan Cruz met with Nigerien Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Abdou Sidikou and senior Nigerien military officials to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the State Partnership Program between the U.S. and Niger. The leaders discussed their strong partnership and continued collaboration to counter violent extremism in the Sahel.
