A. Anušauskas and Minister of National Defence of Greece discussed prospects of military cooperation

On July 12 Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas had a meeting with Minister of National Defence of Greece Nikolaos Dendias, Ministers discussed prospects of military cooperation between the countries, regional security and other relevant topics.
"Even though Lithuania nad Greece border different threats, we still are Allies who share numerous common security interests and defence the same values, and as such, we wish to cooperate as close as possible," A. Anušauskas.
Ministers met on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, they also discussed the decisions taken by the Allied leaders, regional defence plans, increasing defence investment.
"We welcome NATO's progress, the decision concerning the rotational air defence model is really crucial and timely. Now we need to continue to implement it, work is in progress with the Allies who are possible capability donors."
