Today, on 24 April, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis is attending the EU's Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg.

"Speed is the main factor we should be looking for concerning our assistance to Ukraine. It is important to strengthen Europe's defence capabilities. Still, we must spare no effort to ensure that Ukraine receives military support immediately," the head of Lithuania's diplomacy said ahead of the Council meeting.

Regarding the statement by the Chinese Ambassador to France, Lithuania's Foreign Minister said: "We see that the leaders of other countries have already condemned this statement, and we are grateful for the support expressed to the Baltic states".
