Dr. Mara Karlin, Performing the Duties of Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, spoke with Estonian Ministry of Defence Permanent Secretary Kusti Salm to reaffirm the strength of the bilateral relationship between the United States and Estonia. They discussed the security environment in the Baltic region and eastern Europe. The leaders shared concern over the Belarusian regime's weaponization of migration and agreed to continue to closely monitor the situation.
