Tehran (ISNA) – Mentioning to a report of International Committee of the Red Cross on Yemen crisis, Iranian ambassador to UK, Hamid Baeidinejad stressed that more than 22 million Yemenis are in need of humanitarian assistance.

"According to the ICRC report on Yemen crisis, 22.2 million of Yemeni people are in need of humanitarian assistance. 15.7 million lack access to safe water and adequate sanitation. 7.8 million are food insecure. 4.8 million lack access to basic healthcare. 2.9 million children and women are acutely malnourished," Hamid Baeidinejad tweeted.

Recently, New York Times also published a report under the title "On the Front Line of the Saudi War in Yemen: Child Soldiers From Darfur" that led to provoke anger among researchers and broadcasters over the support and silence of US and Europe toward Saudi Arabia in using Sudanese militants and child soldiers from Darfur in the deadly war on Yemen.
