57 Taliban members killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, Dec 2, IRNA -- Afghanistan Defense Ministry in a statement on Saturday announced that 57 members of Taliban terrorist group have been killed and 13 more injured over the past 24 hours.
According to Afghan Defense Ministry, Taliban forces were killed or injured in nine ground attacks and 20 air strikes in 14 provinces.
The highest number of terrorists killed was in Ghazni, Helmand and Nangarhar Provinces, with 19, 12 and six respectively, the statement said.
Afghan forces also confiscated some weapons and ammunitions, it added.
