S. Arabia bombs BTS towers in northern Yemen
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA -- Saudi Arabia has bombarded the base transceiver stations (BTS) in Saada Province, northern Yemen, Yemeni Media 'Al-Masirah' reported.
According to Al-Masirah TV Channel, Saudi-American jetfighters have targeted BTS and communication networks in Haydan and Sahar districts for twenty times.
The aggressors coalition has increased air attacks on infrastructures in Saada Province.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the government of Mansour Hadi back to power and crushing the country's Houthi Ansarullah Movement.
Some 16,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudi-led aggression.
The assaults of the Saudi-led coalition forces have failed to stop the Yemenis from resisting the aggression.
Earlier the spokesman for Yemen's Ansarullah Movement said the escalation of attacks by Saudi coalition on Al Hudaydah will result in weakening efforts made by Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen Martin Griffiths for establishing peace.
The contiguous attacks on civilians' houses in Al Hudaydah is the blatant violation of truce, he added.
